NIV New International Version
The NIV is a very popular and recommendable English Bible translation.
It is freely available in the following ways:

WEB World English Bible
The WEB is the only (?) public domain English Bible translation in contemporary English language. That means it is completely copyright-free.

Notes on more English translations
- ESV (English Standard Version): Precise and popular translation. Vocabulary is harder to understand to non-native speakers. Avaible online, in Bible apps, printed Bibles, ...
- KJV (King James Version): Traditionally popular translation. Uses ancient English language and is mainly used by those who grew up with it. For others it is hard to understand and not recommendable.
- NLT (New Living Translation): Another popular and easy to understand translation. Available in many ways.
